We are nearing the end of the liturgical year and are at this moment trying to stop further growth of the virus among us in our communities. St. Helen's is doing all it can to ensure proper covid-19 protocols are adhered to to make any in-person gatherings safe. At the moment, the only in-person gatherings we feel secure about is our Sunday Eucharist. Other meetings will continue to be by zoom or livestreamed. May everyone feel the warmth and safety of God's embrace.

Morning Prayer Weekdays (at 9:30am)
You are invited to join us for morning prayer from Tuesday to Friday each week for a livestream service of morning prayer.  The service begins at 9:30am and lasts about 30 minutes.  During the service we begin with words of praise and the Psalms.  We listen to God's Word and take a moment to reflect on what the readings may bring to mind.  Following this we take some time for prayers of thanksgiving and intercessioins for the world, the church, our families, our work, our communities and people in any kind of need or trouble.

'Preparing for Sunday' Conversation (at 10:15am)
Once a week we will take the opportunity to come together in a zoom meeting to reflect on the readings that will be coming up the next Sunday.  As it is a zoom gathering, it means we can interact and share our thoughts on what the readings are saying to us.  Everyone will be able to have input as we prepare for the next Sunday.  You would be very welcome to join us.  To join the meeting, please request a link that will allow you to join the meeting.  Once you are in the waiting room, the host (the rector) will let you in to join.  The meetings will start at 10:15am.  This gives enough time for Morning prayer to have concluded and the rector change over from livestreaming to conducting a zoom meeting.  Everyone is welcome.
