Notices for the Week of January 5th -12th    

The Lunch Bunch meets this Tuesday, January 7th.  Gathering time is at 11:45 and lunch is served at 12 noon. Sign up with Joan Hnedish please. The cost is $7  

Parish Council – Annual Potluck Gathering – Members of parish council are reminded that we will have a potluck at the home of Steve and Jos next Sunday, January 12th.  Gathering time is 4pm.  Please look for an email with more information.  

Parish Council Meeting – the next business meeting of the parish council is on Tuesday, January 14th.  The meeting starts at 7pm and will take place in the rector’s office.  Check your email for minutes and agendas.  

Offering Envelopes for 2020 The new offering envelopes for 2020 are now available at the back of the church.  If you did not pick up your new box on the way in, please make sure you pick them up on the way out.  If you have questions about them, or if you do not have offering envelopes now and would like to begin using them, please speak with Jos Laskey.    

Jonathan’s Ordination - Travel to the Cathedral – Our Curate, Deacon Jonathan Pinkney will be ordained priest on Saturday, January 18th (The Feast of the Confession of St. Peter).  The service begins at 10:30am.  Transportation to the cathedral for the ordination is being organized.  The bus will leave St. Helen’s, drop at the cathedral for the service and return to St. Helen’s afterwards. The time the bus leaves St. Helen’s will be announced closer to the date. If you would like to take advantage of our arranged transport, please speak with Lynn Turner as soon as possible.
