LUNCH BUNCH

Parishioners are invited to gather for lunch and fellowship on Thursday, October 27, at 11:45am, in the Upper Hall.  Lunch, coffee, tea and dessert will be provided at a cost of $6.00 per person.  Please confirm your attendance with Joan Hnedish by October 23. All are welcome.      

A NEW PLAN FOR SOUTH WESTMINSTER – COMPLETE THE SURVEY

REPRESENTATIVE NEEDED

We need a member of the congregation to represent St Helen’s at the meetings to help organise events between the three churches of Epiphany, Redeemer and ourselves. If you are interested, please speak to the Wardens.

OCTOBER 29 HALLOWEEN/ALLSAINTS YOUTH EVENT 

St. Mark’s Ocean Park (12953 20 Ave, Surrey) will be hosting a Halloween/All saints evening (Pizza, Games, Crafts, Worship) for youth and families on October 29 from 5-8pm. All are welcome, particularly youth from Grades 6 to 12.

Prayer Requests to the Prayer Circle – please be in touch with Judy Nicholson who will receive and forward your prayer requests to the prayer circle.  If you do not have her contact details, please send an email to the office email address and it will be passed on to her for distribution.  

Altar Flowers – Please consider providing for the flowers placed on the Altar to the glory of God, in celebration, in thanksgiving, or in memory of loved ones.  The cost is usually in the $40 - $50 range for both vases. If you would like to make a donation of a lesser amount, we always appreciate any contributions! Contact Heather Herd for details.  You may make your donation by cheque made out to St. Helen's Anglican Church and send it in the mail or leave it in the offering plate on a Sunday or by Interac e-Transfer. The email address to transfer electronically is: giving2sthelen@gmail.com
