News and Service Sheet for Sunday, February 28th - 2nd Sunday of Lent

Everyone is invited to join us for our service of Morning Worship this Sunday, February 28th at 10am. The service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page. We hope that everyone is staying well and staying safe as this terrible pandemic continues. Although there seems to be light on the horizon as vaccinations begin to ram up, we know it is still very dangerous for us all. We must continue to be vigilent in washing our hands, wearing masks and protecting others. You are all constantly in our prayers for your well being.
This Sunday we focus on the words of Jesus saying how he will be rejected by those in charge. The disciples did not want to hear of it, but Jesus states quite clearly, for those who want to follow him, they must take up their cross to follow. This is quite different from just tagging along for the ride when all is going well. Something for us to reflect on in Lent is what it is, if anything, that we sacrifice, to follow Jesus.
